Thank you for your joining to our flight. Our pilot has the nearly 20 years-long experiences in free-flight and of course has never had any serious accidents with a thousand customers so far. And Azumino is one of the areas with the good conditions for the hot air balloon free flight.

◆ What is a Hot-Air Balloon ?
It burns propane gas (same as ordinary households) as fuel, warms the air inside the hot air balloon, and gains buoyancy and floats in the sky. Unlike airplanes, free flight which fly to high altitude of about 500 to 1000 m with wind as a gang in the sky, riding in the “basket without walls and windows” is limited to “winter”. Leave the wind where you will fly! The flight distance depends on the wind so I do not know every time! By raising or lowering the hot air balloon by the pilot, it catches the wind in the direction which it wants to fly and fly aiming at a wide landing site such as a fallow land.
◆ For reservation
1. Choose the date of your balloon flight at the Booking Calendar of our web site. Fill in the booking form for all items and send it to us.
2. Please read the auto-mail (attach the explanatory note and the agreement which you will sign on at the boarding day.)
3. We will send you the bill within 5-business days after receive your booking. Please pay the bill on credit card.
4. We will confirm your booking after your payment.
5. If you have two nights and have two days (2-times) for ballooning, it is better. Please consider the another date.
- Another date because of the cancellation due to the bad weather conditions .
The booking for the another date is a temporary booking.
We will confirm when we have a vacancy at the day before 7 days. -
The flight is held from 2-passengers. Share on the balloon together with other customers.
◆ The persons who cannot join our flight are:
Under 9 years-old (From 10 to 17 years-old needs one care-taker to fly together with)
*Who needs a wheelchair, walking stick, any helps to move or medical cares. (The reason why for this is that when we are forced to land on the muddy fields you have to walk by yourself.)
*Who has any chronic disease. Heart disease or morbid-fear. *A pregnant woman. *Alcohol or drugs. *Pet.
◆ Clothes and belongings
Please be dressed in the suitable clothes because it may happen sometimes that your clothes are torn or become dirty.
*The temperature above would be nearly -5 degrees.
*The warm winter clothes like a ski suit, winter shoes with the warm socks, cap, globes and muffler are indispensable.
*A mask for covering the face or a pair of sunglasses would be much more help.
*You can take a camera on but take care of its warming. The battery is run down shortly at the low temperature.
*Put a camera in the bag or coat to avoid being broken when we land.
*The things you cannot take in the balloon are: tripod, selfie stick, food, big luggage, cutlery, lighter. A candy and chocolate are OK.
◆ Payment ：
26,000. JRY per person (Balloon Flight time：about 40～50 minutes)
Re:Charter Balloon Flight 1 to 6 people: 150,000.~JPY
We will send you the bill within 5-business days after receive your booking. Pay the bill on credit card within 14days from the bill date. (VISA, MASTER, AmericanExpress) Click [カード支払い] button (the payment button) at SQUARE online service. We will confirm your booking after your payment.
*Hot-air balloon flight has a risk of the injury of your property or the casualty. We, Azumino-Kisen apply the insurance of 20 millions yen for death or an aftereffect of injury and 5 thousands yen for inpatient. And we make assurance doubly sure for the safe on flying. But we offer you to apply the domestic travel casualty insurance by yourself also. When you cancelled the balloon flight due to your reason on the day before and on the flight date, the cancellation fees are 100%.
◆ Flights according to the weather conditions.
The flight would be cancelled with a snow-fall, a blizzard or the strong wind (over 3m/s). We make judgment of flight three times around 17:00 the day before. It is sometimes happened that we are forced to cancel just at the time of boarding or make the flight-time shorter for the bad weather. When we make the judgment of cancellation, we surely inform you by telephone-call. When the flight has finished within 20 minutes, we will pay back from a part of the charge. When the flight is cancelled, there will be no charge. And we are not responsible for your travelling cost.
◆ Meeting place/time
Place： Michi-no-Eki Azumino-Matsukawa Yottetei (Roadside station),

There is a enough parking place. We take you to the boarding place from the meeting place and back by our cars. There is not a place to change your clothes. So please change the clothes in the car if you need.
Time： 6:00 am.
We will surely inform you until the day before.

Please make your trip schedule with enough time because the flight schedule might be changed sometimes.
◆ Notes :
*For your safety, please follow the pilot’s instructions especially at the boarding and landing. Never touch the equipments for flight. (The burner, valve, hose of fuel, rope and etc.) No-smoking at any place near the balloon at boarding nor landing. No alcohol, mobile-phone nor any other manners which would annoy the others.

It is 3 minutes by car to hot air balloon meeting place (Michi-no-Eki Azumino-Matsukawa (Roadside station)).
The morning of the day the owner will send you to the balloon meeting place from the pension. By the way, the owner is also a member of Azumino-kisen.

It is approximately 15to30minutes drive from the hotel.
